Ambrose’s regular sponsor Kingsford Charcoal will also have some signage on it.
Last weekend, in the NAPA Auto Parts 200 held in Montreal Ambrose led 37 laps more than any other driver, and was all set to finish winning his first NASCAR Busch Series but was thwarted Read more »

It was Busch all the way, from the start of the race till the end there was no one who could have thought there could be another winner on Sunday. His dominance was visible at the end of the race with an unbelievable lead lap count of 175 out of a total of 200.
“It’s been 50-something races and that was a tough burden,” Busch said. He snapped his skid of 51 winless races with a dominating win, just a day after the Las Vegas, Nevada born driver turned 29 he also made it into the final top 12 with a coincidental 29 point lead over his nearest rival. The race next week at Watkins Glen will be the last for Juan Pablo Montoya in the Busch Series event, after the race this weekend the team will stop competing in the Busch Series.
The former F1 driver who didn’t find the shift from F1 to NASCAR easy was inducted into the Busch series to help the transition. According to the Chip Ganassi Racing officials, six seasons in F1 had had a lasting effect on Montoya’s racing style and therefore they had to create the Busch program to help him adjust to NASCAR.
Another reason to end the program after the race is that the remainder of the Busch series schedule is conflicting with Montoya’s NASCAR schedule. Read more »

In an event that may speed up the process of negotiations, Dodge announced that it may give up one of its logo on Kasey Kahne’s Number 9 to facilitate the deal. The leading beer company might agree for a position on the hood, which Dodge is willing to let go if a deal is struck with Budweiser.
Darryl Jackson, the vice president of sales for Chrysler in an interview said, “The Company is always looking for good long-term relationships”. He went on to say that, “Budweiser or whoever is a very, very solid brand. It brings with it a very good clientele base of which just so happens to line up with us pretty well from a Dodge perspective.”
The beer company has been on the look-out for a new name after Dale Earnhardt Jr., who’d announced recently that he wouldn’t keep the Budweiser as his primary sponsor for the Hendrick Motorsports in 2008. Kahne is the company’s top choice to replace Dale Earnhardt Jr. Ray Evernham, #9 - Evernham Motorsports Team owner has been negotiating with Budweiser to sponsor the #9 car in 2008 and the only obstacle so far was the long term deal of Dodge Motorsports to stay on the #9’s hood. Dodge seems to have given way to help ease the monetary strain. Evernham was also heard saying that the team has other offers as well for Kahne’s sponsor.
The deal which is more or less done is set to contribute more money to the Evernham Motorsports than Budweiser was contributing as a primary sponsor. The team suffered two crashes in the last race and is trying to rope in sponsors to get competitive again. Good luck to them.
